About Us

  • The Old Testament
  • Pastoral Care
  • PowerPoint for Preachers
  • Mission in a Postmodern World
  • Living in a Multi-Faith world
  • Science and Religion
  • Issues in Religion and Medicine
  • Christianity and the Arts
  • Being a Christian in…(different jobs)
  • Transforming Communities in the Big Society
  • After the Crash
  • Spirituality: What is it?
  • Who is my Muslim neighbour?
  • Making Sense of Science and Christian Faith

BELIEF is a registered charity (Charity Number: 1123911)which works under the auspices of the Bedfordshire Ecumenical Committee and in close collaboration with local churches of many denominations.  BELIEF’s Management Committee meets four times each year to:

  • Identify learning interests and needs within our Christian Community
  • Plan and schedule at least two series of weekly, evening sessions per year plus one-off sessions with eminent speakers
  • Share planned and potential learning experiences within individual churches.

BELIEF is always keen to hear of any ideas or suggestions for courses or speakers and welcomes any offers to participate in the delivery of sessions.
